Noughts and Exes in the Studio! October 6, 2011

Warming up!

 Noughts and Exes came in for the show today!

We talked a bit, rotating between people, as the booth couldn't hold everyone at once. The band also played a couple of  acoustic songs on air!  I've never had anyone on the show fiddle with their instruments live before, so it was great to have the chance to see how that goes. To my ears (wonder how all the audio went through live) Noughts and Exes sounded sooo good. Like sweet sweet music. Perhaps the intimacy of the small cramped booth did it.

Noughts and Exes at The Gladstone

Checked out my buddy Gideon's band - Noughts and Exes at the Gladstone last night!

Was/ Still am super stoked to see a band from Hong Kong play a show in Toronto. Craze. The band was playing Envol et Macadam in Quebec City over the weekend, then came down to Toronto for the show last night, and for one tonight as well.

Awesome news is that since they are spending a decent amount of time in the city, I get to have them on the show this Thursday! It's gonna be a goooood old crazy time getting people in and out of the booth (since our booth can only hold 5 people, and the band is comprised of 6). Stoked!
